Former lead singer of The Drifters and Voices of Classic Soul, Joe Blunt, passes away

With a heavy heart, I say that Joe Blunt, former lead singer of The Drifters and Voices of Classic Soul, passed away at age 74. The Allen Media Strategies family sends our deepest condolences to all of Joe Blunt’s family, friends, and prior bandmates. Joe Blunt was an amazingly talented singer, being lifelong friends with Joe Coleman, part of Voices of Classic Soul. We grieve the loss of our beloved friend and family member, and we know that he’s in a much better place up in Mowtown Heaven.
