Dr. Josh McConkey is a best-selling & Pulitzer Prize-nominated author, decorated military leader, and esteemed emergency physician with over two decades of clinical experience. As a former professor at Duke University and a Board-Certified Emergency Medicine specialist, he brings an unparalleled depth of knowledge in crisis management, leadership under pressure, and team resilience.Â
With 22 years of distinguished military service, Dr. McConkey currently commands the 459th Aeromedical Staging Squadron in the U.S. Air Force Reserves. His leadership has been tested in high-stakes environments, including combat operations during Operation Iraqi Freedom, where he directed life-saving MEDEVAC missions and coordinated joint medical efforts with NATO allies.Â
Beyond his military and medical expertise, Dr. McConkey is a passionate advocate for developing strong, resilient leaders.
